21st Annual Camp Dinner – Saturday, March 7th, 2026
Social Hour at 4pm (BYOB) – Dinner at 5:30pm
Please mark your calendars for March 7th, 2026 for our Camp Dinner. The evening begins with Appetizers and looking at Raffles and Door Prizes. Dinner will follow at 5:30.
A donation of wild game would be very much appreciated and will get you a ticket to this event. My number is 517-974-6178. You can call or text me to set up a time for drop off. Our meeting are on the second Monday of the month, and the Wheezer Geezer Thursday morning get together is gearing up to start again….at least for coffee and donuts if you wish to do a drop off at either of these times.
New or gently used raffle items would be very much appreciated as well. Same contact as above.
Baked goods donations are always appreciated at the dinner. We have some wonderful bakers among our members. Please consider offering your favorite dessert to our guests.
Volunteers are needed to serve the dinner, it’s a buffet line with servers. This gets you in free of charge to the event.
I will need a few folks to help with clean up on Sunday morning around 11am. This will give you hours toward your volunteering to reduce your membership fee next year.
I hope you will join us for this day of fun, good food, and good raffle prizes. We only hold one fundraising event a year, and this is it!
COSC Spring 2026 Gun Show – Sunday, April 12th, 2026
9am-3pm
The next COSC Gun Show is Sunday, April 12, 2026, from 9am to 3pm. If you have any
questions, please contact Mike Rhoads, gun show manager, at 517-643-5989 (call or text).
Attached to this newsletter are forms to request a vendor table, rules for the show, and
advertising for the show. If you can print out and post the ad for the show at gun shops,
sportsman’s clubs, American Legion, VFWs, etc. that you are affiliated with that would be a
great help to the club. We had a good showing at the last show but can always use more
attendees and vendors. Please forward the table request and rules forms to anyone who might
be interested in being a vendor or have them contact Mike. Help will be needed with setting up
the show, modifying, placing and picking up signs for the show, helping vendors bring their
stuff in to the show and to load up after the show, take down tables, clean hall, etc. We need
someone to run the kitchen for this show as our previous cooks are unavailable. Please
contact Mike at 517-643-5989 to volunteer.
